LCC batted first and got off to a bad start losing Steve Wilkins early on. Brad and Duncan then put on a useful stand before Duncan was bowled. Brad continued to score well but was eventually out for a superb 43. Steve Drinkwater, Dennis Townsend made scores of 12 and 20 and Jamie Allen bolstered the innings with 19 not out. Russ was the unfortunate owner of the duck until next season.

Bugbrooke batted well with an opening partnership of 57 with A.Brazier hitting 50 falling shortly at the end. Bugbrooke reached the total with 6 overs to go. Good bowling figures by Russ 3-14 off 5 overs, Brad 2 for 24 off 8 overs and a good comeback for the last game from Steve Drinkwater with 1-19 off 8 overs. Jamie performed well behind the stumps with only 6 byes and one catch to bring an end to an entertaining 2007 season at LCC.
