Great Houghton batted first with their openers making a bright start. 79 was the best contribution followed by Blencowe making 72 after being dropped early on 11 and 17 with plenty of other useful contributions in various partnerships. Houghton finished on 357-9 from 40 overs. The best of LCC's bowling came from Barry with 3-45 and Tugger 3-45.
Faced with such a large target even by our run fest of a ground, LCC were never in the fight but reasonable contributions were made by John with 34, Jamie 36 not out and skipper Dennis Townsend who made 18.
